Every person deserves a real path to work.
Bridgeworks Foundation exists to remove the barriers that keep capable people out of the workforce, not by lowering the bar, but by building the bridge to it: training, real work experience, and support that continues after the paycheck starts.
Populations facing the steepest employment barriers.
Youth with Disabilities
Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) that build job skills and self-advocacy before students age out of school-based support.
Returning Citizens
Structured training and work placement for individuals re-entering the workforce after incarceration.
Individuals in Recovery
Employment support that meets people where they are, building stability through consistent work.
Others Facing Barriers
Anyone for whom the standard on-ramp to employment hasn't worked, because the standard on-ramp wasn't built for them.
“Everyone is employable, given the right support.”
Our Employment First PrincipleCompetitive, integrated employment as the first option.
We start from the presumption that every person we serve, regardless of disability, history, or circumstance, can work in a real job, at a real wage, alongside people without disabilities. Every program decision follows from that principle.
WIOA Title IV & Pre-Employment Transition Services
Our program design is grounded in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title IV framework and the five required Pre-ETS categories: job exploration counseling, work-based learning experiences, counseling on postsecondary training, workplace readiness training, and instruction in self-advocacy.
