Relationship to The Human Group

One mission, two organizations.

Bridgeworks Foundation is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit that holds the mission, raises philanthropic funds, and is governed by its own board. The Human Group (THG) is a separate organization that delivers the day-to-day program: running cohorts, staffing job coaches, and managing worksite placements.

In plain terms: Bridgeworks is the nonprofit that exists to fund and steward this work; THG is who runs it on the ground. The two are structured this way so that donations to Bridgeworks are tax-deductible while program delivery stays with the team that already has the relationships (with schools, employers, and participants) to run it well.
